From Adira: “I love Dr. Rosa! My favorite part is the massages and all the treats she gives me! Thanks to her, I no longer need that annoying wheelchair and I have the freedom to do zoomies like I used to before!”
From Owner: “I have been seeing Dr. Rosa for 1.5 years with my 6 year-old Chihuahua mix, Adira. When Adira first came to me in October of 2020, she had been paraplegic for about 3 months and at that point her chances of recovery with surgery were very slim. To help her gain some of her mobility back, I purchased her a wheelchair and we did exercises at home to help strengthen her back legs. In the first year I had her, she had very little improvement. When Dr. Rosa met Adira, she was in a wheelchair and at that point she was barely able to stand on all four and was walking a few steps but only in her wheelchair.
To be honest, I was very skeptical of acupuncture at first. I didn’t quite understand the concept but I figured it couldn’t hurt Adira and I wanted to do all that was in my power to help her have a better life. In the last 1.5 years that we have been working with Dr. Rosa, Adira has gone from needing a wheelchair to being able to now run on her own! Her walking and running isn’t perfect but she is now more mobile than I ever thought she would be. I know a major part of her improvement has been due to the acupuncture, laser therapy, and massages, but also from all the attention and love that Dr. Rosa invests in her! Adira is always happy to see Dr. Rosa and for every session she runs to greet her in her room and excitedly sits in her bed ready for her therapy.
It has been an amazing journey. I never thought I’d see Adira walk, let alone run like she now does, and it makes me so happy to she her personality come out more as she has gained more mobility. We are definitely very grateful for Dr. Rosa and the amazing work she does! We are excited to continue to work with her!” – Jenny R.

From Daemon: “When I first met Dr. Rosa, I really was not sure about her. She kept poking me with little needles and touching me in places I did not like (mainly my painful back legs). I tried yelling at her and biting her a couple times, but I don’t have any teeth anymore so she did not take my threats very seriously. I quickly decided that I actually don’t mind her so much. Her little needles help my legs and back feel less painful and she is pretty good at massaging my tense shoulders. Her room smells like lavender and has a big window that I like to watch the birds and squirrels out of. I always leave her appointments feeling very relaxed and usually take a big nap in the car ride home. Since meeting Dr. Rosa, I have been able to do more of the fun things that I love again like getting zoomies, chasing the laser, grooming myself, and jumping up on my humans’ bed to wake them up in the morning. Thank you Dr. Rosa! It’s always nice to come visit you.”
From Owner: “Dr. Rosa has been providing Integrative Medicine for my elderly cat, Daemon, for the past couple years. Daemon is about 18 years old, suffers from osteoarthritis, a chronic upper respiratory infection, and has very strong opinions about where and when she likes to be touched. Dr. Rosa’s compassion and gentleness with Daemon continuously amazes me (and Daemon).
Despite not always being the most cooperative patient, Daemon loves Dr. Rosa and always leaves her acupuncture appointments relaxed and happy. When we started working with Dr. Rosa, I expected to have to make some difficult quality of life decisions due to Daemon’s arthritic pain. However, two years later, Daemon is still here with us and happier than ever. I am so grateful to Dr. Rosa for supporting Daemon with both western and holistic medicine and giving her the best quality of life possible. She is not only a wonderful doctor, but a fantastic human being!” – Brigit R.

From Bruce: “Dr. Rosa is a nice lady who helps my elbows feel good. I have very bad arthritis and that makes it hard for me to walk. Sometimes I don’t want to move around much at all and I stay in bed all day. But after I see Dr. Rosa, I feel so much better! I can jump on the little cat tree and hop between the countertops in the kitchen. My mom doesn’t even get upset about that last one because she’s just happy to see me feeling good and strutting around the house! I especially like the massage and treats I get at the end of a session – 10/10 toe beans, would definitely recommend!”
From Owner: “I am so grateful for Dr. Rosa and the “magic” of acupuncture. My cat, Bruce, has had terrible arthritis for years, progressing to the point where the pain was truly preventing him from engaging in his life. He began to lose muscle mass due to lack of exercise and his overall demeanor was dull and sad. He was on pain medication and nutritional supplements, but they just weren’t doing the trick.
Dr. Rosa took a video of Bruce walking prior to beginning any acupuncture, then recorded him again after our initial series of treatments. The difference between the two videos was astounding! Bruce was stiff and visibly uncomfortable in the first video, but in the second I could easily see a change in his body – he was loose and relaxed, bright eyed and, most importantly, happy!
Bruce continues to do well with maintenance sessions and I love telling Dr. Rosa about Bruce’s latest playful escapades. Acupuncture has truly given my little guy a new lease on life and for that we are so very thankful!” – Angie V.
